Hello everyone. I have been an avid reader of the website for a couple of years now but never been able to log on due to my hotmail account putting the verification email into the Junk Mail section! Now I have found out that trick I can log on. Yippee! Just to let you know I have been a Stones fan since about 1979 through listening to them via various brothers. My first LP bought was the Time Waits for No-One compilation and first official LP was Emotional Rescue (bit of a disappointment IMHO). Top 5 would be (altho' it varies a bit) Moonlight Mile Brown Sugar Times Waits for No-One JJF Saint of Me + million others. Anyway just wanted to say hi!
Thanks DandelionPowderman! Just also take the opportunity thanks to all the posters of boots etc. Great to hear some of the things you have only read about over the years. Loved the extended version of Keef singing You got Me Rockin! Would love to extended version of When the Whip Comes Down. I'll keep lookin.
Yep, I know now it was just I was'nt expecting it to land in the junk mail box so assumed the verification had not been sent for whatever reason! Anyway its good to be here now. Just a question which has puzzled me why are'nt there any ABB studio boots about? Does anyone know how many tracks were done for ABB and if so where are the unreleased ones?
Welcome, neilly43! Hotmail is garbage, skip to e.g. Yahoo! Much more storagecapacity, and a junk filter that works. And they don't delete your old e-mails, like Hotmail did to me.
No offence taken Baboon Bro matey boy! Just wondered if you had guessed my surname which has a nautical touch to it! No its just good to be on here at last. its funny from a distance reading the threads you kinda guess what people are like you know the stuff ...Gazza the font of all knowledge who everyone turns to when they want clarification, the controversy about Open G etc. its good to now be part of it..!
That would be Foscher or slt.? But I wont tempt ya to reveal yer name here. "...It´s gettin harder/To describe/Sailors/To the underfed"-Who wrote those lines?

as long as he likes both. that's the key. no hatred here!
Just to clarify, I like every era of the Stones, I just feel slightly disappointed in Woody in that he helped Rod Stewart/The Faces write and play some great stuff early on b4 the Stones and I hoped he would be doing the same for the Stones. Ronnnie is by far the better stage presence than Mr T
