After buying tix for shows at MSG, Las Vegas and the LA Forum, and with my wife upset, I was prepared to buy cheaper seats or even pass on Tokyo, even though I will be there on business. But after seeing the band on fire at the MSG shows, I just had to try the rs.com pre-sale and up came FIRST ROW seats just off center on Ronnie's side!! Including the membership and the unbelievable $80 convenience fee, they are the most expensive tickets I have ever purchased, but I had to pull the trigger. I've been as close as row 5, but I've never been in the first row. I'm still a little dazed. I haven't told my wife yet, and will probably have to sell my Vegas tix now, but I can't wait.

$80 convenience fee...serious.
Should be a great experience though. I'm envious.

$80 convenience fee? That's ridiculous! Ticketmaster has such a monopoly, it's disgusting.

Nothing convenient about paying $80.00 for a ticket.

I don't know what seems more painful - the $80 "convenience fee" or telling your wife. For the $80, THEY should be the ones to tell your wife!!

It's amazing to me. At least, to myself, I justify it in the following manner:

2 front row for Tokyo (incl. fees AND RS.COM membership) USD 1250
2 A1 row 9 for Wembley (incl. fees) = USD 253

USD 1503/4 shows = USD 378. So, thanx to the ticketmaster drop in the UK, my average price per ticket is not bad at all! I wonder if my wife will understand this logic?
