"Paint It Blue- the songs of the RS" (great bluesmen paying tribute to the Stones). Which covers from this CD...

...do you think are the best? In my opinion:

#1 Honky Tonk Woman - Taj Mahal & James Cotton.
What can i say? A song born as clear country track (Country Honk) becames a clear Mississippi Blues...

#2 Under My Thumb - Lucky Peterson.
A differnet "UMT" but a dynamic version...

# Heart Of Stone - Joe Louis Walker.
Pure soul- i can cleraly hear the spirit of Otis Redding here...

Worst covers in my opinion:

#1 Beast Of Burden - Wendell Holmes.
#2 Midnight Rambler- Larry McCray.
#3 Satisfaction- Junior Wells.

Your thoughts?

Wow...

For me, it's Alvin "Youngblood" Hart's "Moonlight Mile" that is the masterpiece of the album. Incredible.

I got a big kick out of "Can't Always Get What You Want" with the "Walk On The Wild Side" vocal parts...

And I really loved Junior Wells doing a "Spoonful"-esque version of "Satisfaction."

"Rambler" was the only out-and-out disaster.
