Percentage of drunks at a Stones show

You can always tell a diehard fan from a concert-goer. The diehards are at least semi-sober. The crazy drunks won't remember the show the next day. I like to float somewhere in the middle. A good buzz and a Stones show-nothing like it!

I do! It was a good tour imo mainly due to song selection and the fact that it was my first Stones concert.

Agree, I don't like to "lose it" at a Stones gig, the show is too memorable... why would you get so shitface stoned that you can't remember anything, and you're risking smashing the people next to you as you're flailing your arms around anyway...

Compare that to a Grateful Dead gig, for example, where losing it is par for the course.

My "secret recipe" at a stones gig: 3 or 4 rum and cokes, 1 or 2 puffs 'o Northern Lights, and I'm "ready to roll" smiling smiley

Gets me right in that middle groove.
