This morning I was able to listen to the promo version of GYYYO.
I could not hear major sonic differences to the 2002 ABKCO remaster, but this now has the complete Stray Cat Blues again as it was on the original vinyl.
You might remember, that the 2002 release had cut the intro about 6 seconds.

I only compared the promo to the original CD release from 1987, major improvement to my ears.

I don't have the 1987 release, so I could not compare to that.

I remember the intro being cut short and after writing ABKCO, they sent me a fixed copy. Naturally, they did not advertise the error, otherwise others would have done the same thing.

Is their any differences in terms of what the audience yells in the original GYYO? Like that "Paint it Black, you devils" woman?

Yeah looking forward to this one - less than a month now. I feel nude not having a legit copy of GYYYO!

The 2002 ABKCO ya yas CD was issued by mistake with the intro cut, then re issued correctly. The early release is now a collectors item as it is not available with that edit.
