Rolling Stones Radio - new version
Date: November 20, 2005 15:38
Yeah, well, you could call it a new version.
As you may know, I broadcasted some Stones music on an online radio earlier. Now I have improved the technique a bit, better sound and so on(don't wanna get to technical here!)... I need to sit next to my PC to broadcast it like this, you know, I need my whole PC for it, so I can't do anything else and can't do it very often. But now I'm broadcasting it.
As far as problems go: if it shocks, I can't help that. A few tips would be:
Turn off all downloading software(torrents, Kazaa, whatever).
Check if maybe anybody else has software like that running.
Be sure to have cable connection to the internet, dial-up won't do.
The broadcasting is 128 KB/S MP3.
So... let me know if it works... and if it does... give me some requests, that would be fun to do, eh? But keep it a bit simple hehe, I don't have loads of stuff. A couple hundred songs though, also some bootlegs.
If the sound is a little too massive for ya, let me know, I'll turn down the preamp.
Ok, to listen, you need Winamp or Realplayer or some other online radio listening stuff to listen to those Shoutcast server, you'll know what I mean if you have one of those.
Go to your listening software and press OPEN URL and type:
213.84.220.202:81
Hope it works...
