Anyone besides me who wishes they had latched on to "Flip The Switch" as a concert staple instead of "You Got Me Rockin'" ?

Nope, I think Flip the Switch blows. YGMR is much better.

I like Flip Switch but to me both essentially the same caliber type tune. You Got me Rocking will probably always be more renowned & have more staying power over the yrs looking back over career. not a huge caliber difference either way MEZ

Both have great lyrics cut ygmr has a much better riff.

Riff-wise You Got Me Rocking wins. Infact, You Got Me Rocking Just Wins. But it would be nice to see Flip The Switch pass by one or two times.

YGMR is certainly the better choice to do live out of the two. The versions of Flip The Switch fromthe B2B tour were good, but it lacked the powerhouse riffing that the studio version had (That being said, I have only heard about 6 or 7 different versions).

It's a different type of song but it wished they had put Saint of Me in the set list like they did with YGMR.

Yes. Saint Of Me is a great choice at concerts. Remember Europe 1998 where everybody was singing the chorus over and over? It was magic.
OOC works best live from B2B though. That's a live classic to me.

Yes, Flip the Switch is my favourite on BtB.

I like the studio version of Flip The Switch better than anything else on Bridges, but Out of Control and Saint of Me work better in concert. I thought those last two were good but nothing special until I heard them live, now I really like them both.

absolutely. Flip was a wonderful live song as well as a great album opener. YGMR is among their worst-ever songs....I followed through with my promise to take a piss break when they played it the other night in Portland - even though it meant leaving my close-to-b-stage location and even though I really didn't have to go! Sometimes you just have to stand up (and it was done standing up) for principle.

FTS is AWESOME on the CD. Live...not as much.

Flip The Switch is a much better song IMO. Saint of Me would be much more welcome as a concert regular as well.

I've never got tired of it. It was ok live

almost everysong past 89 is better then YGMR (except for: 40lix new songs)

i think it more than merely just good live - but it was done when KR was at his absolute epitome on guitar - not sure he'd be able to execute it quite so well anymore

any song about cuttin' up meat is stupid. fts is way better.

If only one song from VL or BTB is to be played Saint of Me would be my choice by a long shot. OOC is good but prevents them from playing Rambler.
