After Rarities will be released, how many other B-side tunes will have yet to become available on CD?????

Any B-side gems out there that we are still waiting for?

Keith says he has a killer mix of "might as well get juiced".

If you are looking for rare Stones tracks then you have to get them through bootlegs. The Stones do not release rare tracks. It is Mick Jagger policy. If it is not finished then you are not supposed to get it. And I agree with Mick. Did you ever get a half-finished meal at a restaurant? No. But you may dig into the garbage bins if you want to have a taste.

If your discount the remixes and the fact the only two of the below has yet to be released on cd, the b-sides left off the new compilation are as follows.

I Think I'm Going Mad (She Was Hot B-side)
Cook Cook Blues (Rock And A Hard Place B-side)
Play With Fire (Live 1989) (UK Ruby Tuesday B-side)
Gimmie Shelter (Live 1989) (UK cassette single)
Undercover Of The Night (Live 1989) (UK Ruby Tuesday B-side)
Harlem Shuffle (Live 1989) (UK Ruby Tuesday B-side)
2000 Light Years From Home (Live 1990) (USA Highwire B-side)
I Just Want To Make Love To You (Live 1990) (UK Highwire B-side)
Honest I Do (USA Hope Floats Soundtrack)
I Just Want To Make Love To You (Live 1998) (Japan edition of No Security)
Angie (Live 1998) (Japan edition of Bridges To Babylon)

I may have made a few errors above and maybe even missed a few out, but from looking at the above; it's easy to see how the Stones could've made the new compilation SO MUCH better.

Wasn't there a live "Paint It Black" on a single some years ago? I remember thinking this one would be hard to find later on but I don't remember which one it was. It might have been on vinyl so may be it was 15 years ago even if I think it was only 5-10 years ago.

I must admit, I too thought there was, but there isn't according to Martin Elliott's sesion book.

There are two different performances of Paint It Black released from 1990. One was used for the At The Max film and the other was on the Flashpoint cd.

There wasnt..maybe you're mixing it up with "2000 Light years from home" which was a b-side of "high wire"?

"Play with fire" (great version too!) was on that CD single, instead of "Paint it black"

PIB is on "flashpoint" anyway, so its not a rarity..

There was actually a Baint It Black CD single out in 1990 in Holland. (882 144-2) That was a two song CD with Long Long While as the second one. But they were taken from the original 1966 single and no live versions. That CD single is pretty hard to find today, should have bought a few extras way back then.....

didnt that single get to #1 in Holland?

I think it was released to coincide with that "Tour of duty" TV show that featured it over the opening credits as well as the '90 tour

Yepp, that was the "Tour Of Duty" CD. But you don't see that one in the used CD sales bins that often nowadays.

I wish they had included Rocky Road To Dublin with the Chieftans and Paying The Cost To be The Boss with BB King on Rarities, since I don't have either of these songs. It's understandable though since they were released on other labels than Virgin. I don' have Honest I Do either, so that would have been great to have on Rarities.

Then how do you explain the crap they have been putting out over the last 15 years ? One or two good songs per cd ? Maybe three . But if you look hard enough you can pretty much find what you are looking for on the internet. You don't have to wait for Mick to release it. If Mick were really smart though he would release some of the older stuff that people may actually buy . That way he can find a way to rape more people of there hard earned cash . He I have an Idea. They can have the band sign a car for some money . Oh man. I am late again on a good idea.

I consider "Let It Rock" LIVE to be a rarity but where's "@#$%& Blues" ;-) Or how about the "Brown Sugar" 12", there's a remix I could get into. Come on now!

I have heard @#$%& Blues. You can get that very easy on the internet. Bit of a weird song. But if anyone would no about sucking a dick it would be Mick.
Just ask David Bowie.

Stripped Companion was a good bootleg
example of how this should be done!!!
While I'd like more 70's b-sides
it seems to beat the upcoming
release hands down. But be
that as it may it will add
a few (very few) new official
releases to my collection, so
no doubt I'll buy it anyway.
