For me Dylan is a man where the mouth and the lower opening has switched place with each other... Its just blah-blah-blah. He has absolutely nothing to say. "honest" is a problematic term in rock music.
I think this is sometimes true and sometimes the reverse is true. They are both generally examples of more honest expression in rock music rather than your cartoon crap like Bon Jovi, ACDC, Guns & Roses etc.

Excuse me Tsev, I happen to like AC/DC. They are not "cartoon crap" imo.
ive been a stones fan for 40 plus years.they have written a few catchy tunes granted, but they are not in the same class as the maestro.dont show your ignorance by saying otherwise.

"they have > written a few catchy tunes"
Well you are sure as shit showing your ignorance, I think Dylan has written many a great song but to come to stones board and write that shite then you are a complete tosser!

For the first time I find myself disagreeing with you. Kent is deluded too, but that's not so unusual.
What sort of 'burnout' creates an album like Love and Theft?
It's extremely lively and creative.
He did an album in 1997 then one in 2001 and there's about to be another. And he's older than the Stones.
His voice is burnt out but not his creativity live or in studio.
Reptile,
Keith rates him as one of a very special kind when it comes to guitar. His harmonica is wonderful. Pity he don't do guitar no more on stage. Superb phrasing and timing. Unique really.
I think he actually tours too much. But you've got to admire his 'living bard' approach. Living the performing-artist life without hype or pretence.

I just can't believe people here don't seem to fully appreciate the great importance of the maestro - Bob Dylan. I suppose you've been drinking too much cheap beer or done too many lines of coke.
