i like all those interpretations, Marclaff! the line about "don't you call me your friend" (and maybe the "Lennon references" as well) inclines me more toward the "one of his daughters and/or her boyfriend" school of thought.

I don't think it's about anyone specific. If it is, though, it's probably about one of his daughters. Somehow I doubt Mick still lets his friends crash in his house after a night of partying.
