Can anyone tell me if any video from the UK shows was evermade available..I know there is a snip of Roundhay on one of my videos.
A friend at the time worked for the video production company on the tour and said all the concerts were recorded..Many thanks

yes the only footages I know of that tour are from Wembley.
about 40 or 45 minutes long.

all thats available apart from a few local news clips from each show is the Wembley pro shot footage

Stones concerts are recorded anyway, but nothing was released officially

Where is the footage from at the end of the Rewind video where they show Mick with the red and white stripped pants. Is that Wembly? Looks like that was professionally filmed for something.

it's from the 1978 US Tour

well the last song on "Video Rewind" is a montage of clips of them playing "Start me up", filmed over various shows during the '81-'82 tour

Dont notice any red and white striped pants, although Mick did wear such clothes in '82 at some shows

The last scene on Video Rewind where The Australian comedian Norman Gunsten is attempting to 'interview' Mick as he comes off the stage is from the '78 tour, almost certainly in Memphis

Most TV companies filmed parts of songs which were broadcast in news reports at the time, including The Tube which has some film from Newcastle. There is 50 minutes proshot from Wembley 26/6 and some unedited Yorkshire TV footage (in B&W) which includes Under My Thumb complete (I think) from Leeds.
