Fire Near My Home

Sorry to get totally OT, but I have to share this-- at about 12:30 AM this morning, the church at the end of my street caught on fire. This is only some 150-200 yards from my house. Thankfully, no one was inside, but the building is half-destroyed. It took maybe three hours for local firefighters to subdue the flames. Now, I'm not a religious person, but an event like this saddens me -- the church also served as a day-care center.
The congregation held services in the parking lot this morning. Of course, they will rebuild. Everyone in the neighborhood is grateful, though, that no one was injured.
