Fingerprint File was only performed during US Tour ´75.
Every show ?
No.I don't think so.

You´re right Sway.
I just looked into Gazza´s great setlist site.
Acccording to it ,Fingerprint File was dropped three times (June 8th - June 11th/
Milwaukee-St.Paul-Boston),nevertheless it has been played about 42 times this tour.
Less than CYHMK meanwhile...

Hi ,shortfatfanny ! According to frayed,Fingerprint File wasn't played in Milwaukee but it was played the 11th in Boston :
DATE: 6/11/75
Venue: Boston
Setlist:
Honkey Tonk Women
All Down the Line
If You Can't Rock Me
Get Off My Cloud
@#$%&
Gimme Shelter
Ain't Too Proud to Beg
You Gotta Move
Can't Always Get What You Want
Happy
Tumbling Dice
Luxury
Heartbreaker
Fingerprint File
Angie
Wild Horses
Outta Space
Brown Sugar
Midnight Rambler
It's Only Rock and Roll
Rip This Joint
Street Fighting Man
Jumping Jack Flash

Well ,the most important is that Fingerprint File -which was I think a great song to beplayed on live - is now a "rare song played on live -winking smiley

I am a Frenchie ,as Mick affectionately called them in the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1977 .

Sohoe,Sway - I was just referring to Gazza´s (great) setlist site,but probably
there´s a slight mistake....

According to Nico Zentgraf´s site it could have been like this :

750608A 8th June: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, County Stadium
(Honky Tonk Women/All Down The Line/If You Can't Rock Me-Get Off
Of My Cloud/Star Star/Gimme Shelter/Ain't Too Proud To Beg/You
Gotta Move/You Can't Always Get What You Want/Sure The One You
Need/Tumbling Dice/Luxury/Band introduction/Doo Doo Doo Doo
Doo/Angie/Wild Horses/That's Life/Outa Space/Midnight Rambler/
Brown Sugar/Rip This Joint/Street Fighting Man/Jumping Jack Flash)

750609A 9th June: St. Paul, Minnesota, Civic Center

750611A 11th June: Boston, Massachusetts, Garden
(Honky Tonk Women/All Down The Line/If You Can't Rock Me-Get Off
Of My Cloud/Star Star/Gimme Shelter/Ain't Too Proud To Beg/You
Gotta Move/You Can't Always Get What You Want/Happy/Tumbling
Dice/Luxury/Band introduction/Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo/Fingerprint
File [+ reprise]/Angie/Wild Horses/That's Life/Outa Space/Brown Sugar/
Midnight Rambler/It's Only Rock'n Roll/Rip This Joint/Street Fighting
Man/Jumping Jack Flash)

750611B 11th June: US radio (WMMS), Boston.
- interview with MJ

750612A 12th June: Boston, Massachusetts, Garden
(Honky Tonk Women/All Down The Line/If You Can't Rock Me-Get Off
Of My Cloud/Star Star/Gimme Shelter/Ain't Too Proud To Beg/You
Gotta Move/You Can't Always Get What You Want/Band introduction/
Happy/Tumbling Dice/Luxury/Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo/Fingerprint File/
Angie/Wild Horses/That's Life/Outa Space/Brown Sugar/Midnight Rambler/
It's Only Rock'n Roll/Rip This Joint/Street Fighting Man/Jumping Jack Flash)

Nevertheless a great song (studio and live).

Seeing Loving Cup in Oklahoma City in '03 was great. When the couple in front of me turned around and saw me freak when Mick announced it and turned around later and saw me singing along they asked..."Is this a new song?!?!"

Good times!

The next day people were calling in to radio stations with people saying "They played too much new stuff! Paul McCartney was better!" They referred to the Exile mini-set of Sweet Virginia, Loving Cup and Rocks Off as "new!" When the only "new stuff" was "Don't Stop."

Saw Shine A Light on B2B too. Which didn't happen much? I don't think"

The Licks tour was unique in the modern era, as some rarities were indeed included once in a while. These included cover songs and Stones originals.

Sure, no so-called "hardcore" fan will EVER be pleased, but the boys HAVE had a go at some unusual selections in the last few years.

That does not make the Licks Tour unique in the modern era. Rare songs were included more than once in a while on all tours until they started coasting on a higher % of warhorses in 2003 after all of the theater / club shows were over. Salt of the Earth @ one show in Sept. 2003 was the lone exception on the Licks tour AFTER the Astoria show. Rare songs were played on ABB but,not often. They tried Sway for the first time early on in the 2005 tour but, after that,it was not played again until 2006. In the '90's for example,Monkey Man was played in concert for the first time but,it was a regular on the VL tour ( especially in '94 ) . You would not have to go to 8 shows in an attempt to catch it live like you apparently have to do now as it was on the ABB tour.

I was thinking about them doing "She's a Rainbow" on the Lix tour.

She's A Rainbow was only performed in concert on the 1997 / 1998 Bridges to Babylon tour.

Wow Monkey Man is absolutely thrilling. I saw them kick it out on the Licks tour in Singapore. Fantastic! Love Ronnie's slide in it, and Keith throwing slabs of guitar at the audience. Mick really gets into this one a lot. Also saw them do it on the Voodoo Lounge tour. Loved it, but thought Licks had more of an edge.

I wish I could see She's a Rainbow live. Classic stones psychedlia. Beautiful!

'She's a Rainbow' wasn't very high intensity when they played it live. Reasonably tight but definitely not energetic. After the song the crowd applauded rather than cheered. Mick said something like 'You're too kind.'

'Play With Fire' from (I think) Toronto in (I think) '89 was absolutely stunning. And the audience REALLY liked it.

Keith sang 'Connection' in New Jersey when I saw them. A pretty good version.

The 'Get Off My Cloud/Yesterday's Papers' medley back in the mid-60's was very odd sounding, but innovative in that they actually alternated verses from each tune, rather than playing them one after the other. Mick's voice REALLY strained to sing the chorus of Yesterday's Papers.

Finally, what about 'Goin' Home' played live? I read they performed it once or twice back in the mid-'60's. Can anyone confirm how it sounded?

I certainly could list off some rare Stones songs that as far as I'm aware of they've never performed live - Parachute Woman, Jigsaw Puzzle, Casino Boogie, ha ha - Emotional Rescue, etc...

A good live version of Parachute Woman on the Rock'n'Roll Circus DVD along with rare No Expectations and Salt of the Earth.

Parachute Woman was played at the Orpheum in 2002.

and it was perhaps the singular highlight of all the shows i saw on that tour...the most remarkable aspect of it was perhaps the fact that they apparently didn't deem it worthy of being played again...wtf, indeed...
