Jagger v Jackson
Date: July 24, 2005 18:23
Just saw the other thread about Mick's dancing and it reminded me off something on BBC radio Five Live on Friday morning. They were talking about Michael Jackson touring again and the woman (don't know who she was, just another expert on nothing, she was probably on Sky advising on international terrorism later in the day before doing a psychologist bit on Big Brother in the evening) said that Jackson wouldn't tour again.
The reason was that he was 47 and couldn't perform at that age any more, couldn't do his dances. When the presenter pointed out that Mick Jagger was over 60 and seemed to manage it she responded "but he just runs about and doesn't dance". What part of spinning around holding your plonker with a white glove constitutes 'dancing'?
