NEW SEATTLE 14/10/81: WORTH THE BUZZ?
Date: July 3, 2005 11:19

I'm posting this to get an idea of what everybody thinks of this show. It sure starts off sounding like Keith was asleep until four minutes before he strapped on his guitar and headed out for the stage.

What's "the buzz" on the Oct. 14 show? I have the Oct. 15 show on mono soundboard (as well as on DVD) and it's my favorite show of the 81 tour. They really tore it up that night.

The Oct. 14 show has very poor sound quality. At the beginning it's still tolerably listenable but towards the end it gets much worse and is almost unlistenable! AFAIK there's no better version around so far, but hopefully I'm wrong and there is a new version out now!
