According to Bill Wyman in his book, Rolling with the Stones, he states that they played Tops during the US 81 Tour ! Does anybody knows on what concerts and if exists any recordings of it. Thanks for any information!!

That would be a great one to play live, no? The structure of the song is solid and it has all the ingredients to make it a killer live tune. Hope they remember this one. The horns would do well here.

I have the Buffalo show, and Mick apologises after the song for all the mistakes I don't think it was bad at all, comparing to other numbers in the beginning of the tour (extremely sloppy - Listen to Philly second show for instance).

listen to philly sept.25,l981 - the song completely falls apart - who cares - it was opening day for the 81 tour and a beautiful day it was. the best part was when journey got booed off stage - love it love it - billboard magazine had a review of that show.....cheers
