I saw them in Bern last night - joyful show, tight band. Most noteworthy points:
1. an hour into the concert, a huge storm came in, pouring buckets of rain just as the band was walking out to the uncovered B-Stage at the far corner of the stadium. I have never seen a band get so wet! They played 3-songs out there (including a well-received Billie Jean), so you gotta give them some credit for hanging tough!
2. a 9-song live CD from the current tour was given out for free after the show as a gift from the band - very nice touch
3. duration including encores was 1 hour and 50 minutes. Very little between-song breaks or distractions, so they play as long as U2/Stones that come in around 2 hours..
When I saw Green Day last week, one of Billie's best line was when he pointed to one person in the audience who was sitting and told her to "get up, this ain't no f%@&!&' Coldplay show!"
