Every tour they say they will do small clubs, and then they do what they always do; play ONE club gig at the start of the tour

I heard from a music insider that the Stones may play small bars 100-200 people

Yeah, small bar... bar ? bar mitzvah, wedding, birthday party (clown and pinata are options).
A new market for the band.

I guess the title just got a little messed up. that's all.
should read:

Stones may or may not play small bars on next tour

I'll have the equipment set up whenever they want to show up at my house.

OT: What's Ryan Adams up to?

Just wondering cos I heard he was taking a sabbatical from music and writing for a magazine and maybe a book? I know a few posters who also like RA's music. Anyone know anything?

Allright let's give this guy the benefit of the doubt. It's only his 3rd post in 5 years. SO maybe he just waits to post the really important stuff.....developing.spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

In the recent Rolling Stone there is some mention of shit ticket sales for Aerosmith and Rod Stewart because of over touring.

The Stones could come set up a regular gig in New Orleans and after a couple of weeks it would be the usual - about 25 people would show up, they'd play too long and get too drunk and go home really late.

I really doubt there will be a tour next year.

IF they play in small bars and stuff, than they will have to play other songs! Not the usual crowd pleasers! Soooooooooo tired of the usual songs. -sigh-

I did read somewhere that The Rollings' would be more than happy to play at your private function or wedding any time. The only proviso being you stump up the £5 million squids fee they command in advance.
No doubt for another 5 million they will also do Abba covers....

I think they should do a tour of laundromats.

Someone stole my favorite Stones shirt from a laundromat.

Incidentally, the studio in New Orleans where Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino, etc. recorded, is now a laundromat!

Let me guess, he can't be named right? I get so sick of this f-ucking shit. We won't know shit until it's time to know shit, if it ever even happens again. Until then, it's all bullshit.

I'm glad you mentioned this, because I've been thinking recently that all this business of it being round is absolute nonsense ? All those astronomers, what the f**k do they know ? They should spend more time going for walks on flat ground rather than staring into the void looking at round things !! Then they might be less inclined to make up these sorts of stories.
