turn on new generations to old bands,
but it surprised me to hear about
3 of the 5 Stones songs that will be added to
the game :

Prodigal Son
I'm free

The other 2 are Satisfation and Under my thumb,

I really can't see my 8 year old daughter being
turn on by You gotta move or prodigal son. What do you think?

Sales of those games are already starting to slide. Same with ringtones. Fads. The best way to generate new fans is to make the live shows more affordable. But, assuming there will indeed be more live shows, that's not likely to happen.

CYHMK and SFTD would do the Stones good. Great solo's and hard to play.
Hell, SMU would be a good one too. Add Brown Sugar and JJFlash....

Just wait a couple of weeks until the "Beatles Rockband" comes to market. The buzz is overwhelming. They are going to crush existing sales records.

I would have tought that for the Stones this was
a great oportunity to expose their music to a much
younger generation and warhorses was the way.

I love Prodigal son and You gotta move, but I know
my daughter is not going to dig this songs at all.

She's buying Aerosmith because of Rockband, it's not going to happen
with the Stones song selection.
