Do we really need JJF and Street Fighting Man on the next tour. These two songs are of course excellent, but they were played a zillion times during the Licks Tour. I didn't like the extended version of Street Fighting Man either. Sure it was raw and powerful, although it was far too long.
I wanna hear new material and also songs that are rarely played. Just to mention a few:
Claudine, Factory Girl, Highwire, Miss Amanda Jones, One Hit (To The Body), She Was Hot, She's A Rainbow You Got The Silver and so on.........
Has anyone heard of a well balanced setlist? This is one that doesn't bore 99.9% of attendees but also doesn't rely solely on warhorses.
I want a good mix of warhorses, not often performed greatest hits or best of type material, one or two obscurities and plenty of new material. Oh, and Midnight Rambler at every gig.
I never understand when people post these pointless setlists what this "new song" is supposed to mean. Obviously a new song but what if...well you get my point,... I think.

With a new album coming, you would expect them to play a new song or two on the tour.
Well yes. I hope they play ten of'em. My point is that it looks silly to me to write "Ok here I want to place a new song that I have never heard" After Some Girls the bulk of the set was made up of the album. Who knows what the new album will bring? Maybe there will be a killer opening song. Or eighteen ballads. I can't believe I am spelling this out.
Well, of course it is just speculation. But if you look at the VL and B2B setlists you will find a "new" song (at the time) as the 3rd song, for example.
