Ronnies at it again.

Looks like someone still has issues. I pulled this off of AOL a minute ago

Despite his age, Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood is still hanging on to his partying ways. Earlier this week, the 62-year-old rocker reportedly burst out of Heathrow Airport's Terminal 5 "totally wasted" on a drunken mission to find a lighter.

According to the Daily Star, the cigarette-dangling Wood allegedly told the London airport's security to "f--- off", yelling "I don't care, just give me a light." Woody next opened the door of a cab and started searching through its glove compartment, saying, "I'll help you have a look for one."

It's not the first time Wood has painted the town red since relapsing after a July 2008 rehab stint. Last September, he supposedly fell off the wagon after hanging with British artist Damien Hirst. Then in February, Stones guitarist Keith Richards, no stranger to booze himself, told vodka aficionado Ronnie to dry out or he might be tossed from the group's upcoming tour plans.

It's indeed been a controversial year for the guitarist and grandfather of six since he left his wife, Jo, last summer after 23 years of marriage for Russian-born model Ekaterina Ivanova, who's now 20 years old. Although initially distraught when Ronnie moved out of the family's estate in last October, his estranged wife, who has been tapped to appear on the BBC One ballroom competition 'Strictly Come Dancing,' is now relieved.

"He's kind of done me a favor," says Jo Wood. "I'm a lot happier now and feel as if I've got my life back.

i just don't understand why a 62-year-old man, a lifelong smoker, doesn't have his own lighter....what is wrong with this guy????

Because it's not allowed .. if you leave Heathrow by plane or if you come in by plane from the US or the rest of UK. No lighters allowed. If travel from Europe it's allowed. Maybe he travelled from Ireland. Probably not allowed from there.

Ok maybe it's ony another story.

(but that lighter thing is really a problem for smokers these days, no joke)

Not sure what the exact policy is in Heathrow for smoking but just possibly smoking inside the terminal might be against the law.

Anyway more power to Ronnnie! Live it up!!!

Just please get rid of that silly wig!

Exactly. If this is true, now it just seems sad and stupid. This is not impressive. He just looks like an idiot now.

"six grandchildren"? eye popping smiley
Jamie (Ronnie's stepson) has a couple/few kids, but six??

update: oh okay, i see Leah had a baby last may - [www.dailymail.co.uk] -
but are the other five all Jamie's, or does Jesse have offspring, or ... ???

and "Then in February, Stones guitarist Keith Richards ... told vodka aficionado Ronnie to dry out
or he might be tossed from the group's upcoming tour plans" - what is that referring to?
sounds like they're misquoting an outdated contactmusic concoction ...

but yeah, that scenario where they take your lighters away before the flight, and then on the arrivals end,
all the kiosks in the airport take advantage by charging ridiculous amounts for them - that's no way to get along
