So much for PJ being fan friendly. Seems they've learned a little too much from the Stones.eye rolling smiley

Lol. indeed. I can't understand why a private video bootleg is shut down, although there are still other sources out there. They will be releasing this show as an official bootleg, so very soon it will be available as a soundboard. After the sale of the bootlegs are done, then PJ allows the free trade of the bootlegs. Like now that the '09 tour is up and running, the 2008 bootlegs can finally be traded/shared freely . . .

Seems like Ronnie is in great shape and good form - let's have the Stones on the road soon and let's have the spontanious back in the Stones conserts.

By the way - this version of All Along is much better than U2 - this is the difference between a Rock / Blues band than POP band like U2 has become.

So Cool!

Just wander how these things go?! For me was them playing together a pleasant surprise!

Do they meet up in the airport and then Eddy asks Ronnie if he is free tonight. Ron says yes, so Eddy invites them to play....or it it something that is arranged by management??????

Ronnie looks great! And sounds great! Not a huge Eddie Vedder fan at this point but it was still somewhat enjoyable.

Ronnié's laughable on this one: he jerks off his white Stat pretending he's making music... business as usual after all for him...

Lol. I think Vedder tries to explain; he says right before the song that he had written some lyrics for Ronnie. He then jokes that it was an "indian giver" situation in that he actually used it for the new Pearl Jam record . . . looked as if they were very friendly. Just great to see . . .

Here is PJ doing Street Fighting Man in 1994 at their height in popularity . . . pretty sloppy but alot of fun!

So Ronnie played on "Even Flow"? This, according to the IORR news at least. Doesn't sound like his typical kind of song, though I'd be curious to hear all the same.

And my two cents, Pearl Jam's 2 guitarists are the best post-Stones example I have heard of great guitar weaving. Man those guys are tight.

<"laughable" is indeed the word that came to my mind when I watched the vid...
Hope Mick & Keith will flush the guy before the next tour... and get new blood
(a guy in his 40's that is)>

What is "laughable" about this??

He doesn´t seem to know what to play so there´s a few bum notes and a lot of octaves during the whole song. Boring, if anything.

you're posts are laughable IMHO... "after all", Ronnie's been rather about partying & making music, not business.

I've seen Ronnie do walk ons and look like a deer in the headlights. He seems comfortable with the Dylan song and he's making noises at least. It is classic Ronnie such as he is, I suppose. It was more than I expected.
