Best choice is to make your own - BTW, 1 CD won't be enough.
Other than that, I like Hot Rocks best.

Of course you can't go wrong with either of the Big Hits - but then you might as well get Hot Rocks.
Rewind, of course, is classic and has a better selection of songs on it than Jump Back.
Forty Licks is good - except for those new songs ha ha.

Just give him a copy of Let It Bleed and within a few months he'll get himself another 6-8 of the Stones' albums...believe me...screw the Greatest Hits crap...
