Jokes aside, I believe she had -as did her mom- a nose job?

I am tempted to say all this is getting out of control... PEOPLE! GET A GRIP!!
But that may be a bit too simplistic of me.

From the psychedelic age to the cybersex age just in 40 short years ... my what a world

Tabloids didn't go along, they stayed pseudo-moralistic all the way.

Is "Chastity" still a common name to give to a girl? I hope not.

May the person in question get her life in an enjoyable order soon. All the best.

And now let's bury this topic

Regarding gender reassignment, there was an interesting article in The Atlantic a few months back about whether children who see themselves as the opposite sex should undergo such a process. When you read about those kids--under 5 years old-- who just weren't happy with the way they were born, it broke your heart. It's a complicated issue and it must be discussed rather than met with insecure silence pretending to be sophistication.

Please. A 5 year old making such decisions? Letting someone who's brain is 20 years from being fully developed leading to decisions like that is just ridiculous. How many tom-boys did we all grow up with that turned out to be fine wives and mothers? Imagine because they liked to play baseball if we switched them all to boys and they had to grow up with that probable poor decision.

I say live and let live, but until you're an adult, you'd expect more of your parents. It's not like painting your bedroom a different color...
