Question about LONDON original Inner sleeves
Posted by: Honestman ()
Date: May 21, 2009 15:21

Hi everybody's

I'm collecting LP's since a long time,
and I need your help to replace 3 of my Inner sleeves which are not originals.
I 've got all the original US LONDON LP's
from "The ROLLING STONES Newest Hit Makers" to "Get Yer Ya-Ya's out"
I'm searchin' on EBAY if i could find a seller who could sell only the inner sleeves but the ones i've found are reproduction inner sleeves.

Do you know some links???

Here the the ones i need !

Thanks in advance for your help !

HMN

I have zillions of all of those sleeves. Email me and we can work something out. I guess I will have to do a chapter in the book on the correct inners for each LP--now I have to do a bunch more scannning....ouch...MORE WORK!!!!

Well, slightly easier for the Decca ones. Many of them had the date printed.

Please note on the detail photo of the early London sleeves, that EACH ONE IS DIFFERENT.

1st one has 1st LP top left, second one had Decembers Children top left and last one has Aftermath Top left, so you can roughly date them by that.

Original 1st LPs came in plain white sleeves, sometimes with the center hole cut out, sometimes not. UK London FFRR pressings came in the poly lined London FFRR inners.

Same as above for 12x5 (except 12x5 UK London FFRRs came in BROWN COLORED SLEEVES) and NOW!. The earliest sleeves that showed LPs are from mid 65, for Out of our heads.

US "Open Ear" London FFRR (only England's Newest Hitmakers and NOW! have been verified to exist) labels also came in plain white, unlined sleeves.

Hope this helps...

JR

Honest man, I sent you private emails, did you get them?

Anyway, I only have one each of the early ones---with red print, black and white photos, Plenty of the color ones with newer lps... One of the white with London logo.

Let me know if still interested.

Best,

JR

In conclusion, is it possible to list the London inner sleeves in chronological order?
