If I had to only pick one Ronnie album, I'd go with 1234. A great album and lots of Stones' contributions..

Now Look--Ronnie's 2nd album. Co-produced by Bobby Womack, it's a real fusion of American R&B and British rock--not just an English guy bashing away at soul songs.
There's a love and loss theme going on throughout the disc. All the hurt, doubt, frustration, and pain from love gone wrong is there in the grooves. It's Exile on Soul St...., a latter-day version of Sinatra's In The Wee Small Hours.
Last thing he did before he signed his life away to the Stones, Ronnie's at the top of his game on this dark, understated, under-appreciated classic.

Now Look had to kinda grow on me but I wound up liking it almost as much as his first one. At the time(1975) I didnt think it sounded much like "Got My Own Album" but later found out that much of the material was recorded during the first album sessions. Does anyone know whose version on "Big Bayou" was out first ? Ron's or Rod's(cause I aways thought Rons was better!)

I agree 100% with Mr. Snows recommendations!
I have always considered "IGMOATD" as ANOTHER Stones record!!!

the intro alone to 'We All Get Old' makes the album worth tracking down.

Well, "Old Habits Die Hard" is pretty good...and it's terrific, compared to a lot of the RS ballads of this decade

Wouldn't "I've Got My Own Album To Do" actually be a Faces solo album?
Nevertheless, It's my fave.
