Yep, I think we're all better off listening to that masterpiece called A Bigger Bang. Or Bridges to Babylon. Or Voodoo Lounge or Steel Wheels.

Actually not, because the album is better than anything the Stones have put out in the past 20 years. It's not quite as good as some of the reviews are making it out to be but it's better than American Idiot was. My personal favorites are "Horseshoes and Handgrenades", "See the Light" and "Before the Lobotomy". Lots of variety on this album and some stuff you may not expect from this band,

I haven't heard it yet Helter. But I hope this thread fares better than the last time I tried to talk about Green Day.

They had their Angie/As Tears Go By shitty mushy song with that awful horrible The Time Of Your Life or whatever that crap is.

Aside from that they simply rock.

Haven't heard it yet. Hopefully there isn't another Angie-esque or Time Of Your Life-esque song on it...

They are the driving force of music in this and any century.

It's a great record, period!

"Last Night On Earth" sounds like John Lennon coming back to give us one more song.

It's very rare that I totally enjoy a CD first listen thru. I did with this one.

I think it's a nice and decent cd, I do appreciate the political side of it. Anyway, I kind of prefer American Idiot and I still think that Dookie from 1994 is their best record.
