timeless stuff. i just realized there's a "bob connection" with both songs, too...he makes good choices too...haha...

It changes almost daily, but at the moment it's 'Just Tell Her Jim Said Hello' by Elvis Presley.

I like a variety of music. It is a tough question, but I would say Gimme Shelter. I'm not sure why... It just speaks to me.

Great choice...a few months ago I saw John Sebastian and David Grisman do an excellent show, consisting mostly of songs from their new "Satisfied" album.

They also found time to do some Spoonful classics. Before the second encore John said, "There are some songs that just shouldn't be played on acoustic instruments!"

And then they jumped in to "Summer In the City."

It sounded just fine.

Chris Fountian wake me, shake me is a good song too.

grisman is joining the jefferson starship in a new lineup...

I must say I was hoping for some more interesting comments on how your choice of song reflected your personal character...

took me awhile on this one, because as Slew has said, it's not possible, I start to
type one in and I can't finish cause another song has pushed its way in.
so my cop out answer is Gimme Shelter,JJF, and SFTD, all in the time it took me to type this.

Back in 2006 I listened to a song every day with the intent of narrowing the songs down to my Top 10 favorites. JJF was the highest Stone song at Number 3. Number 1 was the International Velvet Theme Song by Francis Lai. Holidsay in the Sun by the Sex Pistols was in there somewhere too. An eclectic mix for sure.
