One of my favourite Blues Artists, Morgan Davis, is coming to Europe in April and May. He will be doing gigs in Holland, Germany, France and Switzerland.

Morgan is still looking for gigs while being in Europe. So, if by any chance, you got some contact to promoters or blues clubs, please get in touch with Morgan through his website.

Morgan also does “House Calls”. For about 200 Euros he will come to your house and play a gig for you and your friends. You can find details about that on his website too.

Morgan played with some of the worlds great old blues players. He won several awards in Canada including a Juno, the highest Canadian musical award.

from the samples, sounds alright. i'll be honest, though - i've followed the blooze pretty avidly for over 30 years and i've never heard of him. i'm sure there's hundreds others i haven't, too, though. lots of good players playing in relative obscurity...

He's well known in Toronto and winner of quite a few "Maple Blues Awards", very supportive of the local blues scene when he lived here. Go see him you'll be impressed and say hello to him for me.

I got to know about Morgan true a friend in Canada. He sent me some cds from Morgan and I love them all.
I surely gonna see him when he is in Holland or Germany

it's a shame so many artists have to seek opportunities oveseas to earn a living. i'll toss you another name i'll bet alot of blues fans have never heard of: byther smith. fabulous guitarist/singer - he's much bigger in europe than in the us...probably even more popular in canada than the us.

Never saw Morgan live, but saw him on a videocall on msn. He was at our friends house playing for his birthday, wife from our friend booked Morgan for a housecall as a suprise for his birthday. Our friend asked Morgan if he would play for friends in Holland, and he did that.Morgan sat before the camera with his gitar and played 2 songs for us.It was great for us, and Morgan liked it too, he said "I never did that before" and laughed. This way we could be present on our friends birthday party in Canada and have a little,short private concert.

I had a great time in Apeldoorn. After the show I got from the barowner a poster and Morgan signed it for us.
