My first post here.
Got a rare acetate from the Mighty Avengers Blue turns to grey but with Mick Jagger on vocals and Jimmy Page on guitar.
It comes with a handwritten letter from the leadsinger of The Mighty Avengers.
Will post a part of the mp3 but don't know how do do it.

Nice find! Would love to hear this.

nice mood to this song, first heard it in a documentary which was discussing brians death at the time, again the versatility of the stones in the 60,s comes to the fore.

It's the 25x5 documentary released in 1989

Yep, works for me ... squarely in the middle of what I would call the Stones' pop era (between their early blues covers and Satanic Majesties) when they were doing their best to be original and write songs. It's from the period of the Stones I know and love. (Even though it's a B side at best).

It's the same version as on Necrophilia, isn't it?

Found this info on the net:
A demo featuring just Mick & Keith plus more session men (Jimmy Page), this was given to The Mighty Avengers who copied the arrangement almost note-for-note. The full Rolling Stones line-up re-recorded the song a year later & it was first released on the U.S.-only ‘December’s Children’ LP. Cliff Richard (with The Shadows) probably cut the ultimate version though, & it was his version that became a U.K. hit single.

It is. And also the same as Dick and Deedee's.
