It will not or should not be Dylan. He is for select audiences only. The Who would be a great choice. They can deliver.

It'll be whoever has a new album or tour to promote. If Springsteen gets a boost in ticket sales for his tour like Petty did last year. I think you'll have acts calling the NFL asking for the gig. BTW, you have plenty of time for your predictions. The HT act isn't usually announcened until after the season starts. So it will probably be around Sept next year before they say who it will be.

Yeah ACDC and Aerosmith would be legit possiblities. But ACDC may be done touring the US by then. Aerosmith may have something to promote by then. Don't think the Eagles are an option. Even though they have been rumoured a lot. Their last album will have been out for a few years and they have been touring for that time as well....But the Rock & Roll acts the last few years seem to be going over well.

The Eagles is a good bet,
but the only sure bet is the self proclaimed expert "hens",
in the chicken coop, will be out in force, the second BEFORE
they leave the stage with the standard comments like "vegas"
"sold out" "bad songs" " too much" buc buc buc cluck cluck....

this is what turns them on,,and there is no stopping these grumpy
old woman from crabbing about the topic of the day. They used to be funny,
sometimes, but they seem to be on "that time of the month"....everyday.

If they EVER said a kind word it would at least contrast, but nope....
