We got tons in December and stayed 3 weeks or more til Jan. My water pipes got frozen and my car was in the ditch. Hope we don't get anymore like that. Hope it gets better for you BV.

More snow here now. Another 25 cm i.e. a foot or so today. I have now 3 feet i.e. ome meter outside my house. Staying inside actually...



And Oslo airport is closed today, first time ever because of too much snow I think.

what is the elevation there? Do they normally get snow?

The top of El Teide vulcano is 3.718 metres , but the altitude over there at The Cañadas (pictures) is around 2000 metres, there´s a Parador Hotel over there and Izaña the great Observatory.

The UK early last week, though it took less than six hours for the rain to wash it all away again!

Not gone yet where we are, Logie, still all white after heavy falls Monday Thursday and Friday ... and that's in the south of England.

How is it with the fires now, Rockman??

I found myself stucck on the Highway here for an hour in the snow chaos,
thanks to irresponsible logistics companies.... Trucks all over, blockin' the highway..
