To anyone who has seen the current ACDC tour, can you tell me if there is an opening band and about what time ACDC goes on?

I got tix for Cleveland on Monday night and would like to know when to arrive and how long to drink in the parking lot

The Answer is the opener and they have been getting decent reviews.

AC/DC on average has been going on about 60 mins after the time printed on the ticket. The Answer plays 30 mins, 30 min changeover, then AC/DC.

The Answer , they were amazing and just play about 5 songs before acdc.

The Answer is a good reason to stay in the bar and have a few more drinks. A Robert Plant wannabee with less talent (yes, it is possible).

I am a hater by nature, so unless I am already into the opener... I try to avoid them. There are, of course, exceptions to this rule but in general I would rather be smoking, snorting and drinking prior to my main event rock show.

AC/DC will either be on at 8.30 (if the Answer go on at 7.30) or 9.00 (if the Answer go on at 8.00)

With regards the Answer, If you like Zep wannabes then go and watch em, they're ok. But the singer has a HUGE Plant fixation which gets annoying after about 5 minutes

The are a cracking rock n roll band, hsiling, I believe from Cork in Ireland, I've seen them many times over the last couple of years, Even opening for the Stones, also saw 'em play supporting aerosmoth at Hyde park.

Got a new album coming out next month, Go check 'em out.

I think Australia will be the autumn leg of their World Tour. The main question is : will they tour US stadium this summer or later ?

they haven't played since 2003 , they haven't supported aerosmith at hyde park , and the new album was out on october 2008.

One of you is talking about AC/DC and the other is talking about the Answer (I think). Someone needs to clarify.

Saw the show last night and it ROCKED!!! However it was basically the same show I saw in 86 and 92. The HELLS BELL, Cannons, Inflatable Rosie, strip tease Angus, several new songs along with 10 or so warhorses. Awesome but considering their setlist really doesn't ever change during a tour it should make Stones fans happy that they will at least change up 2-3 songs from show to show.

Yeah, great show. Although I can't remember the last time my ears were ringing this bad!

The Answer was ok, I've seen worse (and have seen better too).
