I will agree he is one of the greatest songwriters, ever...and I love the way he slapped that stand up bass around, I would probably put him in my top 10. I was fortunate to see him perform live at my College in the mid 70'sQuote

I'd have to go with Ronnie Lane, James Jamerson and Willie Dixon. Besides all Dixon did on his own, he was a member of the original Chuck Berry recording band along with Johnnie Johnson and Ebby Hardy.
