QuoteRollingFreak I wish I liked more of Bowie's later work. Truly, after Let's Dance, the only album I liked in full was Hours, which I think is a fantastic late era record. Ironically, the only other one I liked was the unreleased Toy. He was on a good run in that period. Having said that, the later studio albums don't do much for me. I've really tried Heathen and The Next D

QuoteJimmyTheSaint Anyone know when the next installment of the era box sets is due to be released? I’m a big fan of his late career material. Heathen, The Next Day, Black Star. Heathen & Next Day are seriously underrated, IMO.

Great guitar player. Bridge of Sighs is 1 of my favorite albums. He had a fantastic band back in those days. RIP singer/bass player James Dewar. He passed away far too young.

QuoteTravellinMan I like the novels and the TV series also. There is a recent collection of the loosely related novellas and short stories including one with Jackson Lamb- Standing by the Wall. Might as well mention here Stalone's Tulsa King is fun too. Tulsa King is surprisingly good.

Thank you. My first Stones tour (Boulder). In a lot of ways the best show I saw by them still.

QuoteLieB Sounds great, except that it seems they're going to make Deluxe editions of albums, with bonus tracks. I'd much rather have boxes and "authorised bootlegs" without recycling the official stuff we've had for half a century already. Remasters might be good. It's been a long time since the Faces records were released.

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 I think A Clayton is one of the very best bass players in Rock. I'd say U2 has 1 of the best rhythm sections in rock. Those guys are tight!

QuoteTopi The holidays is a bad time to announce a tour. I wish more artists/promoters would figure this out. There have been many tours put on sale the last month, some for big money. It's a Christmas cash grab. I'm much more likely to spend money on presents for my little kid friends than a show. This year I made an exception for the Stones tickets but would've rather had the t

I got the 4K UHD of "Moonage Daydream". Criterion put it out. It's phenomenal. The soundtrack sounds amazing with Dolby Atmos. Really great music documentary. It's not the usual thing. Think it's on the streaming services, worth watching.

I wish I could go. Achtung is my favorite U2 record on top of all the Sphere stuff. Sadly I've got some health (& associated $) issues that preclude a trip to Vegas for a show. I'm pretty sure they'll film the show so at least I'll be able to see it.

The hotel Sandos Finisterra in Cabo San Lucas had a shrine to Keith & Patti's marriage in the lobby. The marriage happened there. It's been a long time since I've been to Cabo so it could still be there. One of the older hotels there. I stayed there & it was pretty nice.

Quoteflilflam I have seen the Stones five times and enjoyed them all, but I hate seeing them in the outdoor areas. I have been rained on and made miserable by the cold. The screens are too tiny for such large crowds, and the sound quality is poor. Any one heard any rumors about the location of any indoor gigs ? Las Vegas is indoors & LA has a roof although it is open air. Glendale is i
