Going to Bonnaroo this summer partly to see Sir Paul for the 3rd time. Tix around $250 for four days of great times. Another vote for Flaming Lips - I used to see them in small clubs in Kansas, where I grew up. I hear this new tour will be somewhat different from previous in terms of new stage set & etc (used to see them with Christmas lights as the stage set... those were the days...)

FWIW, Julian is a lot less bitter now than some of his previous interviews...takes himself less seriously, is doing a lot of fundraising for various causes & such (not that I think there's anything wrong with what he says here... Also found one in the 10th row - problem is, I already have one of the $450 ones in 119 at side stage, and no way I'd be able to unload it for anywhere near what I paid. Sigh. Not at all. Have seen Sean perform a couple of times - he just burned it down at the Ryman here in Nashville a couple years back. Love Julian as well, he's a great photographer and a hell of a human.
