QuoteStonesfan2146 I do totally believe UMGs marketing people who probably receive millions of dollars to do research on buying behaviors both in the past and recent times and I think that if they conclude that Christmas is the best release time, it's based on numbers and facts. This leads me to the thought that a release postponement until a possible spring 26 tour would be a risk as they a

If so, it’s mid-afternoon, here in the U.K. and definitely maybe about time the beer was flowing! >< Nice one Al! Myself, I didn't touch the stuff for the whole day, just ate some nice food and drank a lot o

Just came back from Cardiff today. Great opening night, I had the best spot in the house at the rail rite in front of RKid slightly a bit inside Noel and Bonehead's side. I got an e-mail from ticketmaster on wednesday stating I had a Premier Standing which included early entry which made me a very happy boy so everything was smooth (it wasn't at all clear when I bought the tickets).

Quotemick64 It is known if there will be the same formats as Hackney Diamonds. I hope for a similar CD/Br Atmos release however with an additional DVD docu of the the recordings of both HD and the new one (and maybe some 2024 live stuff along with it)

This version of Acquiesce is proper weird, the singing sounds like the original version until the second verse which is identical to the first and which is always sung live since late '95. A shame that Liam never sings the second verse as that is a very beautiful one indeed. I do wonder if this is not a "Frankenstein job", a bit like our boys have done since the Exile reissue..?

QuoteBig Al QuoteBjorn Great news! Champagne! Sorry, there's a budget! Prosecco it is! May I recommend a mid-priced Nature Brut Crèmant from Bourgogne Al, it'll only set you back about 15-20 quid: Clotilde Davenne Perfect with Stones in yer ears and some shrimp pasta on your plate celebtating a new Stones album

QuoteBig Al QuoteMunichhilton QuoteRollingFreak Its a rehearsal. I agree with this. Nothing to judge. I find it interesting theres no Noel backing vocals. Both those songs feature him prominently... Hopefully, that's a sign of Noel focusing more on his playing! He's probably a little rusty, considering his been more of a 'strummer' in recent years. I'd love a return

QuoteBig Al QuoteMadMax QuoteBig Al A snippet from the rehearsals! The drums are awful, I really hope they give Zak a call but I guess it's a bit late in the game. You think, Max? They sound ‘OK’ to my ears, though this is a fairly poor recording from outside the studio. Still, it’s exciting! Fade Away! They’re digging-out B-sides for us! Yeah Al, that drumfill in Cigs and Alcohol

Quotesnoopy2 QuoteMadMax To be fair, Keith did say in the April 2019 issue of MOJO when being interviewed in New York: "It ain't the Stones trying to be the Stones, it's the Stones trying to BE. Hehehehe" Quite a lot can be interpreted from that one sentence IMHO. I dig that quote! Me too Snoopy Do you also get the same sentiment as I do?

QuoteHappy Jack As it seems The Who is headed into the twilight I can look back and make a few observations: Ive been a fan of the band for 30 years; My first was concert was in 2000 at 17 in Tinley Park, IL. It turned out to be John's last tour with the band and they rocked. I saw them three times after that (the last being in 2007). I love The Who and will always love the musi. Their ou
