Quotedeardoctortake1 Don't forget, much of the IMAX film At The Max was filmed after in a sound studio where they recreated the stage and even Keith s sweat. They didn't have enough film at the real shows to finish the production. That's the first time I hear about sound studio footage. I knew they shoot footage in an empty stadium the day after the Turin concert. I even think I

Thanks for your replies There are 3 versions from The Marquee 1971. Maybe you were thinking of one of the two alternate takes from this date. Actually 3 versions from 2 performances. The "official" one is a mix of both perfomed versions whic

QuotePapo Younger folks probably don't have a DVD/BR Player anymore. No one under 20 that I know has a CD player or a physical drive in their Computer anymore. So streaming is the way to go to reach these audiences. I would agree if this was a free stream on social media. But when you're under 20 and don't have a serious passion for the Stones you won't spend 10€ for a stre

QuoteNilsHolgersson Why they put Happy on youtube and not some rare track like Going Down or Who Do You Love? So that you buy the damn thing for the rare tracks. IORR has been released as a second single too. I am right now listening to it on Spotify and I must say the sound is quite good. Way better than the audio release of Havana for example.

In 2010 they showed Ladies & Gentlemen, in 2011 Some Girls (Texas '78), in 2013 Sweet Summer Sun and in 2016 Havana Moon in cinemas shortly before the DVD/BR release. Same question back then: Why buying a cinema-ticket when you're g

Why paying 10€ for a stream if I can buy it for 20€ on Blu Ray and be able to watch it again and again and again? The stream was fun in 2012 because it was a live event. But what is the argument to buy a stream again in 2023?

Quoteslewan The Who are playing Berlin Waldbühne in June. It's all reserved seating (which is quite surprising for Waldbühne – as we all know there's usually no reserved seating inside the various blocks) Got my Tickets this morning. You can choose better seats on www.myticket.de than on Eventim!

I like him. He played Pinkpop in 2014 two days after the Stones played there. It was a great show. But I wouldn't call him "new". His biggest Hits are over 10 years old. The Stones were not a new act in 1975 either.

Quotemickschix I don't know about the rest of you, but I am SICK of stadium shows! That's all I have to say....except I long for arena shows where weather is NOT an issue and there are far fewer drunks! I prefer stadium shows over arena shows unless there would be a superior setlist for arena shows like in 2002/3 and 2012/13.

QuoteTransmaniaconMC I wonder why the European Leg of the Urban Jungle Tour is somewhat neglected. it was the last tour with Bill and differs from the Steel Wheels Tour. I would love to hear Torino or London shows. It is well documented on At The Max so we have releases from all three legs now

QuoteTopi Chicago 2013 wasnt a "large venue/stadium" that slewan is looking for. It was United Center. Then again, the Paris venue, La Défense Arena, is essentially a roofed rugby stadium that holds 40K for concerts, much bigger than an "arena" If Paris 17 doesn't count it's probably La Plata 2016 and Tokyo 2014.

Quotefranzk I think the most logical thing is Las Vegas residency instead of regular tour. Just think about it: with skyrocketting travel costs and gas prices it's way better to book 15 shows in Las Vegas and perform there with maybe PPV web streams instead of touring America or Europe in 2023. It would make sense for everybody. Please exclude me here! I would prefer a residency at my loca

QuoteKingbeebuzz Both Happy and Respectable sound slow to me compared with how they were originally performed live. The Stones used to play songs super fast live in the past. Since 2012 they try to stick more to the tempo of the original recordings which sounds good to me. Although I enjoy the super fast Satisfaction from Salt Lake City 05 too.

Just listened to Happy on Spotify and directly compared it to the sound of Happy from Licked Live in NYC and Copacabana. On Licks release the guitars are way louder and clearer in the mix but the sound is much more dryer on Licks. I think the sound is not bad on GRRR Live! Yes a bit too much bass, guitars too low but better than Licks and Copacabana. And way better than the horrible Buenos Aires
