QuoteLightnin'Baboon Bro is right and Voodoochile is also well-informed. Taylor's passport indicates he was born in 1949. (The Jim Sheridan article published on micktaylor.net contains an error). Yes, that's nothing but another of many articles with the wrong date, and now to show another proof check Ed's Mick Taylor website The website is a fan site but with some

I was there the whole week and as BV said you gotta be there to feel the magic, is a real enthusiastic audience and very young. I have travelled to see the stones since 1981 and that was one of the best trips of my life. BTW, I met some of the guys on the picture above, one of them, Juan Ignacio, is the owner of the 40x5 bar (a nice bar... I'm proud a souvenir in the bar was donated by me to

In my opinion the shows in Latin countries (both, Latin American and Latin European) are really great and the audiences are the most enthusiatic, just see BV comment recently: "If you can't go to Argentina to see the Stones then a show in Spain is a great alternative. As close as you get to the magic at River Plate Stadium Buenos Aires...", or the comments by "Ed Beaver"

It depends on what your definition of “Concept Album” is. For me is an album about one theme and with the songs linked, if it also has defined characters with defined personalities is the best definition of “Concept album” imho of course Regular albums have songs about different themes and not linked between each other, “concept albums” are about the same and are linked. For me the first wa

Yes, "Climbing" and "Nantucket Sleighride" are great, also in the "last" (with Felix) album "Avalanche" they make a very good rendition to the Stones' Satisfaction. Leslie West's first album has something very cool: THE ONLY song that Mick Jagger and Keith Richards have composed with others (Leslie West, Corky Laing and Sandra Palmer) and appe

According to Andrew Loog he didn't fire Stu, I asked him aboout it and this was the answer he gave me, word-by-word: “Gerardo, I did not fire Stu, that was not within my power to do. I just told the Stones that I did not think the English public, because that's all we were dealing with at the time, were capable of being sold an image factor that contained six people. Ok, here I go... First she switched from rock to fashion photographer, she was one of the top Vanity Fair photographers instead of Rolling Stone. It was in the mid or early 80s She got “married” with Susan Sontag (1933-2004) a well known write and intellect, they had a daughter (Sarah) by artificial insemination in 2001 and of course Sarah lives with Annie. Susan passed away by cancer in 2004
