I think NumberOneStonesFan is closer than anyone, if we have two types only: diehards and casual fans. However, thesingernotthebong, you have something there in a way in that certainly some people who prefer certain types of music or lyrics might have a bigger appreciation for heavier or deeper songs. Just to chime in on each person's treatment of women-- When it comes to cheating, I think Charlie is the only Rolling Stone who didn't cheat on a partner... However, when it comes to violence, from my reading (from Bill Wyman's book, for example), Brian was the only one who consistently and severely beat women with whom he was seriously involved.

Cavett was about the best interview around at the time, kinda like Charlie Rose (on PBS, U. S) is now. Okay, he was from Yale and literary, but as some said above, he was one of the only people giving us these performances on a talk show in the U.S., and talking to these young musicians.
