Thank you for your encouragements Beelyboy. I am doing my best, and kind of hoping something decent would come out of it. I do it like some people draw aquarelles on the week-end, I'm also going to start building myself a bass, anyways... I am a guy... Sorry about that, well, I'm not really sorry... But you get my point :0) I soooooo like getting in a 'hot' discussion t

Hi all, the following link leads to a review of the Greenfield G1 Cutaway and mentions Keith as a client of Greenfield Guitars: Would anyone have an idea (or even better pictures) of which guitar specifically was built by Michael Greenfield for our Coconut Tree climbing hero ? Thanks, J-M

Hi all, all these talks about the new RHCP record reminded me of some stuff I heard about the Flea-Stones relationships. I know Flea was on Wandering Spirit, or at least on some session tapes of Wandering Spirit, I can't really remember... I also heard from a friend that Flea was offered to audition for the Stones when Bill took off. Apparently he turned the offer down when told it would

You can hate them or their music as much as you want, these guys are GREAT musicians. They know the history and philosophy of music, they know how to make great songs, they are REAL INSPIRED musicians. Take a look as these guys' bios if you have any doubt about that. Their last album is one of the most inspired recording put out in a while. I mean a Bigger Bang is cool, it's a nice albu

I have the Left-Handed "70's" Japanese Tele. I still use the mics that came with it, I think they are perfect. From clean to dirty, they do the job. I love the neck or middle positions, I rarely use the bridge pick-up by itslef. The greatest thing about them is they will deliver a really different sound depending on where you attack the strings. I love attacking them on the neck, a

The similarities between "Let Me Down Real Slow" and "Jaded" didn't really strike me but I think "She saw me coming" sounds a lot like Aerosmith. I can't really relate it to any specific Aerosmith's song, but the general "color" of the song is more Aerosmithy than Stonesy in my opinion. About Joe Perry "wanting" to be Keith, I w

It really depends on the mood of the day... I like to listen to the studio stuff when I travel or when I'm on the go (I Pod or in my car), and I'm keeping the outtakes and live for when I'm at home. So all in all, it must be : 30% Studio stuff 60% Boots & Live 10% left for Gorillaz :0)

I went to see her in Paris 2005 (for 60 Euros), and it was really disappointing. Very impersonal, everything calculated, and apart from a few good moments (Material Girl played in a kind of speed rock way) it was really nothing special. I felt so ripped off… I can’t imagine people paying 1000$ and not trying to get on stage to try to kill the bitch :0)
