Mick Taylor is pissed at the Stones for not being asked to continue touring with them. It's likely that he thought he was back as a permanent member.
It seems that everyone from the fans to the Stones themselves wanted Taylor to continue with the exception of Mick Jagger. Taylor's presence hurt the bottom line.
On the other hand Taylor did quit the band many years ago. I can see b Forum: Tell Me
Taylor is pissed because the thought he stood a chance of once again being a permanent member of the Rolling Stones...As a fan I would love to see it, but i doubt that at any time did Jagger ever promise him he was back for good. Forum: Tell Me

They're right to leave it a long time before bringing out a new album as people need to have erased ABB from their memories , well, most of it.
That's hilarious considering it barely sold!
Actually it sold quite well. It was the number one album in the world for two weeks as well as topping the European charts...In today's market place Forum: Tell Me
A strictly blues record by the Stones sounds boring to me, but I'd bet my life critics will be fawning all over it upon it's release. For some reason people seem to want a blues record from the Stones. Forum: Tell Me
I think this is most likely "Keith speak" to say a new record is "in the can"
They probably recorded a bunch of tracks, some finished, but most needing a lot of polishing up.
I believe Jagger said they are to record more in the late spring. I'd say it's also likely that Jagger showed up with a ton of demos that the Stones are putting their touch on...Thus, the Forum: Tell Me
How is this news? Everyone has know this for decades.
That said,many/most long term relationships have this type of a love/hate element to them. If they truly hated each other the Stones would have ceased to exist decades ago. I think they are fine. Forum: Tell Me
I think this is great news. Why should age matter?
You may have heard of 73 year old Harrison Ford's latest film...It's a little movie called Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Thus far it has grossed $930 million to become the all time domestic champion. That doesn't include the billion plus it has made in other markets around the world.
Ford even at 73 pulled of the role of Han Forum: Tell Me
I just don't get all the love for this mediocre song. It's ok as album filler or a B side to a single, but to listen to some people around here you would think it's the next Gimmie Shelter Forum: Tell Me
I generally like Lady Ga Ga, but i thought her tribute was pretty mediocre.
On the other hand I thought the Eagles tribute to Glen Frey was excellent as was the tribute to B.B. King. Forum: Tell Me

Could it be Under The Radar? I love that song, one of my favorites from ABB and oddly enough not part of the regular album.
Maybe it's me, but I don't get all the love for Under the Radar in fan circles. It's a solid B side/album filler, but that's about it as far as I'm concerned. Forum: Tell Me
4 out of 5 stars
I enjoyed it. Much better than the prequles, but doesn't quite live up to the legacy of the original Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back...About as good as Return of the Jedi.
Loved the new cast and seeing Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill back in their iconic roles was epic...Carrie Fisher seemed a little off...All and all a solid kickoff to the new trilogy, but I hope Forum: Tell Me
While album sales may be slowing in the U.S. and U.K. the album is still in the top 20 (#18) on the global chart after a month on the chart. I believe it peaked at #4 on this chart.
I never understood why total sales (world chart) takes a backseat to the U.S. + U.K. charts. Those charts give a small sample compared to total sales around the world. Forum: Tell Me
- Mick going on stage with lightweights like Taylor Swift
- The ridiculous amounts of money they charge for concerts
- Not recording an album in the last decade
- Not giving Mick Taylor + Bill Wyman bigger roles in the last tour Forum: Tell Me
Keith Richards enters the Global Chart at #4 with Crosseyed Heart
Global Chart = the top-selling albums according to global sales figures and national album charts
issue date: September 30, 2015
P.S. Shouldn't this be the definitive chart as it includes all sales from around the world? Just wondering.
P.S.S. The Stones topped this chart in 2005 for either 2 or 3 weeks with Forum: Tell Me
People don't buy music anymore. That number from Keith is fairy impressive when you consider that Main Offender entered the charts at #99 and sold far fewer records in an era when people actually paid for/bought music. Forum: Tell Me
Tattoo You was the last "great" album.
I don't understand why anyone would care if they came back to work on songs they had started in some cases years before...The end result was a classic record...How many times have authors completed great books after years of working on other works only to return back to finish a novel they started years before.

The entire deflate gate thing is such nonsense.
I have no idea if they did it or not, but even if they did so what? It's such an insignificant infraction that if it were anyone else they would have faced a small fine and nobody would have heard of it, but because the Patriots have dominated the NFL for a decade and a half it's a big deal.
Can anyone say with a straight face that Forum: Tell Me
Pathetic!
It says a lot that Keith is having success all over the globe (his album will be a top 10 hit on the global chart) with a mature understated album for adults, while Mick is trying to get the attention of 14 year old girls.
How long before Keith is ripping Mick in the press over this? And yes I know that the Stones had Taylor Swift up on stage, but I'm 100% convinced that neit Forum: Tell Me
According to Hits Daily Double Keith will enter the United States charts at #9. This would be the first ever top ten solo album by a Rolling Stone.
* It should be noted that this chart does not always mach up exactly with Billboard Forum: Tell Me
If this track were included on a brand new Stones album it would be trashed, but because it's on a record that many older fans seem to have fond memories of it's elevated by some here as a lost classic.
It's a terrible/dated song. Forum: Tell Me

Love, love, love the album. If he doesn't tour, or doesn't sell well, I will still love the album.
Tour is unlikely, but the album seems headed for a top ten debut. Forum: Tell Me

Keith's album is expected to sell 30-35k in the U.S during the first week, enough for a Top 10 debut on the Billboard chart.
It could be the first Top 10 album for a solo Stone in the U.S, the best peak positions so far are Wandering Spirit #11, She's The Boss #13 and Talk Is Cheap #24)
Main Offender peaked at #99 in 1992.
That's great news. Forum: Tell Me
Why is Keith's record being released on a Friday? Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't most cd's in America released on Tuesday?
This could hurt his chances of having a high charting album if his first week sales occur over two different chart weeks. Forum: Tell Me
