RIP Eddie, easily a Top 10 guitarist/innovator of all-time. Also rank #10 all-time on my list of bands. In 1984, when the original VH broke up (DLR left the band), I was graduating 8th grade/middle school & was floored by the break up...it took 25+ yrs to see the original lineup, which I did, 2x & I'm so grateful for the memories. True story: Growing up in Long Island, NY in the '70s-mid '80s, my school was a 1/4 mile from Bill Wyman's place in Old Westbury, right off the LI Expressway. We had to drive by it daily. There was a ~10-12 ft. high white stucco wall surrounding the property, but you could see part of the 2nd story on one of the corners of the house. In the 10 yrs I went to that school, I ba

No, but I did bump into Keef who was stumbling drunk, rolling out of a limo @ ~3am at a strip mall in Florida. He had a few ladies in the limo jamming to music & he reeked of booze & cigarettes. He asked me for a light, I lit his cigarette, he thanked me, burped & farted simultaneously, we both laughed & he went on his merry way like a thief in the night. I was in awe of th

I've chatted with him before, briefly & he's always been forthcoming, so no issues there. "he stated he was just scrolling & came across it.". That's a shame, as work as deta

QuoteRollingFreak Thought Floyd without Waters wasn't worth the time, but I'd be interested in that second disc. Same way I was interested in the second disc of Pulse. Those 3 still play those old songs very well. They're a better band with Roger, but to me David was the driving force (quality & quantity), more so than Waters. I read an article a few years ago w/a chart that

QuoteCaptainCorella Awesome! Now can you do the same for the original (in several senses) DECCA releases from the UK. :-) I wish I were that overqualified to do so hahaha. I was just sharing the link.

Quotetreaclefingers This going to sound very obviously biased, but you could probably take the entire Beatles catalogue, and half the Stones catalogue, and put them on the list in lieu of some of the entries they currently have, and have a significantly stronger list. ...and I only say half the Stones catalogue for some very obvious reasons! Agreed 100%, though I'll add my own version:

Quotedcba A reissue of LIB? Nothing new on it but the 1st 1000 copies will include a tiny plastic pouch containing one drop of Mick's blood taken during his recent heart surgery. If you want to own Mick's DNA this is the ultimate opportunity!!! Interesting, go on, I like where this is going. Also, I'd swap for Keef's blood instead, to the secret to immortality.

I would hope it'd be an EP/LP of the "5-7 songs they have in the can" + maybe some bonus unreleased material (of any eras).

More than 300 artists, journalists, and industry figures — everyone from Beyoncé to Taylor Swift to members of U2 — helped determine the all-new list While the Top 500 list is highly debated/subjective, the list of 300+ voters is littered with Hip-hop/Rap/R&B (modern vs.), that the top 500 list becomes a jok
