QuoteSomeTorontoGirl I’ve spent a lot of time in Van, but not for a few years now. Just checked to see if my favourite restaurant survived the pandemic and…yayyyyyy! C’mon lads, pick a date! Great chai tea and food there

Map of hotels near BC Place I've circled two skytrains (City Center - part of the Canada line that runs North - South from YVR to Waterfront) and (Stadium China Town that runs east to west and is part of the Expo line) There's a ton of hotels walking distance from BC place, but if you don't necessarily want to be close to the Stadium find a place near near a Canada Line or Ex

Saw them in 06 (edmonton), 2016 (Vancouver), and 2019 (Vancouver). 2016 was my fav of the bunch. I'd really enjoy seeing them play A Quick One with the orchestra, or dust off some deep cuts from Who Are You, but aside from that I'd like to see them again without the orchestra.

QuoteDGA35 QuoteDan QuoteTopi As posted earlier, even the guys at 40 x 5 Tributo Bar say it's going to be North America first. (See page 46 of this thread) Also - where in North America would you start in March? Too early for outdoor stadium shows. Besides, a March start would probably have been announced by now. Tours are announced about three months out these days. Vancouver is a dome

Well there won't be any playoff hockey in Vancouver this year! Will the Leafs do their usual choke in the playoffs? I'm guessing they will. People would be pretty confused if they don't have a first round exit.

QuoteMisterDDDD Not “make up” shows per se, but both Jazz Fest and Vancouver have been very high on their list for several tours now. Clearly important to them to play Vancouver again, and obviously they want to play Jazz Fest as they’ve tried to make that work several times. I think it’s very likely they play both in ‘23 . Mike and Topi know what's up. Vancouver 2023

Neil Young admits that he might slow down one day, but for now he’s doubling down on the idea of creating a sustainable tour. Retirement “doesn’t seem out of the realm of possibility,” Young, 77, tells the New Yorker. “That could happen. You get to a point in life where things are happening everywhere around you, and your friends are going away and not coming back. Things change.” In th

Quotetatters Now that Covid is on the wane, it looks like Neil has found himself another excuse not to tour. What's up with this guy anyway? Why can't he just say, "I'm sorry folks, but I'm no longer physically up to being able to perform in a manner that would be satisfactory either to the audience or to myself." There'd be no disgrace in that. I don'

QuoteHairball New album + new tour = new stage. And I wasn't suggesting a massive/expensive stage design ala No Filter, but something visually classy and minimal along the same lines. If they want to save money and have an easily transportable stage, they could use a similar flimsy stage ala Sixty Tour, but hopefully it will be redesigned to reflect the new album/new tour. QuoteDGA35 QuoteJavadave The altitude at Red Rocksx has proven problematical for many older performers. If they wanted to play a destination location venue, The Gorge would be easier on their health and holds more people. I seriously doubt either of these scenarios will happen. Quotecrholmstrom I checked tickets for Seattle tomorrow night. It looks like it sold fairly well but plenty of tickets left. Nothing less than (before service charge) $60. Great opening band: Mike Campbell & the Dirty Knobs. Saw them in May & they were fantastic. Good choice for opener. I'm probably not going. A bit out of my budget right now. I wish I was going to Seattle tomorrow

they definitely don't package their posters/lithos like professionals would. Should be in a reasonably thick tube and then placed inside of a triangle box. A lot of people in the poster collecting hobby will even send items in a thick pvc tube. One tube is bound to get crushed at a sorting facility.

QuoteTopi I mean, Vancouver...great city. Still bummed about the cancelled show. It would also have been my first Stones show in Canada, my favorite country. Not holding out too much hope for them ever playing Canada again, but if there is an US tour somewhere in the not-too-distant future, maybe? whatever you say, Topi. You're the boss
