Anyone have a lead on this? There's about 3 minutes of 8mm footage from one of the 1967 Milan shows that I'd like to see and try to sync up. Haven't found anything about it online, so any help would be appreciated.

Quotedcba Quoteautomaticchanger All of Frank's footage has been digitized/preserved - that's where nearly all the Crossfire concert clips come from. Yes I'm pretty sure it's been transfered... the question is : is it useable? I mean given the sonic level the P.A. was at in 72, a live sound capture with a hand-held mike and a Nagra must have been pretty overloaded... I&#

QuoteProfessorWolf QuoteJMARKO That may not be Texas. I was just reading/hearing that they originally rehearsed in a very cramped space in L.A. area before moving to the Burbank location.I can’t for the life of me remember where I heard/read this. Any help? i recall that too but couldn't tell you where but just goes to prove my suspicion that franks filmed a lot more then we know abo

Thanks for sharing, never seen this before. Definitely 1968, maybe September - Mick's hair is dyed black for the filming of Performance, but it looks a bit shorter than the David Frost appearance in November. The comments about psychedelia suggests it was shot before Beggar's was released.

QuoteProfessorWolf wonderful but to me it seems to be the same footage from a couple weeks ago still hope mr. tek went to more then one show with his trusty camera I posted up the entire film on here/my channel already, but Deniz asked for a montage style edit for himself. This was the only show he filmed as far as I know.

QuoteTaylor1 Mathis, do you know which 1972 concert the snippet at 37 seconds on the Cross Fire hurricane promo posted above is from. It is really clear. Do you think they might have the full concert on film I checked the clip and I'm pretty sure it's from 06/15/72 Albuquerque. Mick's wearing the purple jumpsuit with the silver jacket like in Long Beach,

QuotePalace Revolution 2000 I think Australia '73 was even hotter than US 72 and Europe 73. If they ever got around to cleaning up another vintage Live show, Sydney or Perth have my vote. Overall I prefer 72, but I've never heard a 72 'Rocks Off' that comes anywhere close to the Australia shows.

Quotejohn lomax This is so awesome!!! Automatic Changer - is there any other footage on the way? My upload is the complete film that Deniz shot - with a vantage point like his it's understandable that he'd put the camera away and enjoy the show after a while, haha.

I was just about to make a thread for this but you beat me to it, haha. I've been working with Deniz on this footage for the past week and synced it up to the soundboard audio. Here's my edit of the complete film, which he generously allowed me to put up on my channel:

Thanks for uploading! I isolated the Stones clips and replaced the camera audio with the audience audio, as I found the camera audio to be really indistinct:

Just wanted to share two pictures I found of Taylor using both Gibsons during the tour. This one shows him using the ES-330 at one of the Boston Garden shows, 11/29/69: This is a screenshot from the West Palm Beach show clip from Days of Rage that shows him using the ES-355:

I did take one more look at the full doc and managed to scope out a few more clips from the Miami show. I was able to sync up Flash and what I think is Stray Cat. I put it up on YouTube but here's a wetransfer: I don't believe that this footage is actually from the Maysles film crew, for two reasons: 1) all the Maysles footage from MSG and Altamont that is used in the Doc has a l

"4 a.m. on the first day of December — thirty more days until 1970 — and it is bitter, bitter cold in West Palm Beach, Florida [...] Thirty thousand kids are huddled before a makeshift stage vainly trying to stop the insistent wind from pushing the swamp’s primeval damp through every hole in their torn army jackets, dirty sleeping bags, raveled sweaters, and patched-up jeans" A pas

Well, I paid a few bucks to stream the film on Vimeo and didn't see anything but MSG and Altamont footage, unfortunately. I'll take one more look just in case before my rental period is up but looks like it's a bust.

I think you're right about it being from Miami - you can tell the stage is way too high to be Altamont, and you can see Mick's breath. I pulled the clip in question: I'll have to check the film and see if there's anything else.

QuoteProfessorWolf thanks that was great now you just need to colorize it by the way are you planning to take a wack at milan 70 as well? To paraphrase Orson Welles, keep your Crayola's away from my movies! I wasn't planning on Milan, as the circulating sync is pretty good already so I don't think I'd add much.

This footage has circulated for years as being from the show in Essen, but when I tried syncing up the audience audio I couldn't match Mick's mouth movements, particularly in Sympathy - at the Essen show he sings "HAVE some sympathy, some taste", but in the footage he clearly sings a second "have". I went through a search for pictures of stage outfits and audio, and
