My rehearsal listening friends are headed to the East Coast now. Gig of a half dozen new releases in front of band and record label invitees and fans rumored. Me further speculating: Monday Tuesday rehearsals limited to a few new songs for a Thursday prerelease gig makes sense. Maybe songs live on Jimmy Fallon though record label sponsored short gig and party at small venue mentioned.

The band (3members) plans to be together in London for the launch on the 6th. I surmise no live music as no rehearsal discussion. I have no hard facts, just discussion with a few who seem to show up at rehearsals and primary and supporting member's gigs.

Does the name and advertisement leave room for this to be the old songs reimagined and with guests?

I was guessing Ronnie’s idea of sober and mine might be different. Turns out he was much more absolute about not drinking than me. He klinked (probst) my beer with a soda. Ronnie wouldn’t sign a champagne bottle being auctioned. He was sober and healthy. And having fun with friends, family and fans.

A few more things of mention from the Ivy. It was said Ben Waters is on new album, maybe on 3 songs. Also David Foster was present but I have no input as to if he is involved with RS album. You all prob know this but Wiki says: David Walter Foster OC OBC is a Canadian musician, composer, arranger, record producer and music executive who chaired Verve Records from 2012 to 2016. He has won 16 G

I had the great pleasure of being at the Ivy Club in London on Thursday for Ronnie’s performance. What I believe I learned speaking to those I expect are in the know, could just be rumor, but both statements came in conversation with multiple people: The album is completed. We are waiting for Mick’s foot (sometimes ankle stated) to heal for the tour to begin. A minor standard health i

I had the great pleasure of being at the Ivy Club in London on Thursday for Ronnie’s performance. Ronnie was happy, healthy, dancing and having fun playing to several dozen for charity at the swanky club. Usually a quartet of rotating members playing a loose set list. Ronnie, Chanel, Ben Waters, Tom Waters (22?yr old son on sax, awesome) Imelda May, stand up base and drums rotating in and out

Buddy Guy, a few shows this week! He is holding his annual residency at Legends in Chicago. I usually see 3-4 shows of his each year here. Great openers, not to be missed. I see 2 live shows of various artists every week, it’s my thing, so I don’t post on this thread, but thought Buddy deserves special mention. Go see him if you are near Chicago! Tickets online, sells out to late walk ups.

Quotempj200 The album is nearly finished. Announcement likely in early February. Awesome Mr. MPJ200! I always appreciate getting the scoop from you! Busy February- Old music, new music and hopefully a tour announcement. Another good year ahead! Rehersals (IORR Band?) and a half dozen or so shows for me.

I loved Going Down from these shows. John Mayer and Gary Clark Jr guesting on one of the Newark gigs is my favorite version though the Jeff Beck version is available on YouTube with better sound quality. I hope this release includes this song.

I saw Eric Clapton twice this week at Chicago's United Center. United Center has concert capacity of 23,000. For Eric the top section was curtained closed and many seats left open. I'm guessing he played to no more than 10,000 each night. Harry Styles is coming and has sold out 6 United Center shows. I need tix for daughter and friends. Far away seats cost twice as much as EC

The space is awesome with great care having been taken to offer a great Stones experience through their memorabilia. Matt is a fun character who takes the time to converse with and answer questions from all guests. Visit if you can!

Yes. One QR code for all your tix. You can get individual QR for each if you send ticket to another person. But one code gets you all in if at the gate together. True for Madrid/Munich/ and I only have one code for 2 London tickets. Mick’s got the moves like Jagger, singing great and coming through loud and clear with the best sound quality. Guitars loud and striking. Rocks Off an awesome mess. Great set list. Lots of life in those old songs. Just what a Rolling Stone’s show should be!

Rain coming hard now with thunder and lightning. Continuing for about the next three hours. Perhaps opening band will be on stage at 8:45 and Stones about 10? Anyone know of a curfew?

I just happened to walk by their hotel this eve after dinner. A group of several dozen fans were outside. Ronnie (shirtless) Sally and the twins all came to their 2nd floor open window smiling and waving with the group. Sorry I didn’t take a pic but many others did. The twins seemed to be having fun with the attention and kept their parents at the window for a few minutes.

Thanks for the thanks. It’s nice to contribute. I often enjoy the input from the musicians, historians and other fans here. There were 19 songs today. I’m hoping that they will add a song or two from the first two days of stadium rehearsals to the set list come Wednesday. Maybe no reason to rehearse today what they just did yesterday. That happened in Chicago 2019. Maybe not. Either way I’ll
