QuoteRockman if The Rolling Stones arranged for a new show in 2022, in your own home city, would you go, or would you rather stay at home, doing something else? They can stay at my home for free .... I'd even help build the stage .......... I agree I'd help too Rocky......but my house is closer than yours to the venue! The Stones should come and tour Australia / NZ in 2021

Led Zep 4 at number 58……and The Band at 59.....ridiculous!! I think RS is covering too many genres of music with too much hip hop and rap stuff in the list.

In Melbourne in February 1973 in searing heat the Stones played 3 shows in 2 days. Apparently the doctor advised Jagger not to perform again on the Saturday night but he did.....

many thanks to TooTough who found the article it's an interesting story all analogue for those boys which is great to hear. Last show I went to in Chicago 2 last year (traveling from Australia) I had no idea they used an analogue mixing desk as I assumed everything was digital these days.

translated for us non german speaking dudes: No Filter" was the name of the Rolling Stones' European tour – in reference to Dave Natale's setup at FOH, the motto can be taken almost literally: the 59-year-old, who has otherwise mixed Tina Turner, Fleetwood Mac, Van Halen, Jeff Beck, Prince or Mötley Crüe, refrains from any approaches of effect-hating: he uses an analog board, no

Not a bad song I think there's other outtakes that are better that could've been used like the classic Travelin man' from the Exile sessions. It sounds a bit like the Faces. I noticed in the video at 2:40 minutes in there's a great side shot from their 1973 show at Kooyong in Melb. I was too young to go, greatest regret of my life but I've since made up for it with 13

I had never seen the full length interview from the Sydney press conference at the Old Spaghetti theatre in the Rocks in Sydney. There's a plaque inside the building mentioning the Stones press conference. And they still didn't ask Charlie a question says Mick - not much has changed in 47 years!

I went to see Elton in December indoors in Melbourne because as I said to friends 38 shows across Australia & NZ and 2 side trips to LA for Elton was going to take its toll on a 73 year old man. At least the Stones know their limits and only perform 2 shows per week!

Less than a happy new year for much of eastern Australia coastal areas where hundreds of thousands of hectares continue to burn and many lives are lost. I've lived here all my life and never seen anything like it in my 61 years! Unfortunately we have a climate change denying government who are doing nothing to reduce emission targets here. Rural fire services are doing an incredible jo

Ronnie is by far the busiest Stone, years ago Keith would guest on other musicians albums but doesn't seem to as much nowadays nor does he play live outside of the Stones tours he's slowed down considerably. Mick has his film hobby & Charlie well he's probably content being back home.

Yes I'm very surprised about the claim of lack of large stadiums in Asia/Australia given that Sth Korea & Japan have hosted world cup soccer matches and Japan is hosting the 2020 Olympic games. As Rod had pointed out we have plenty of large stadiums here in Oz, funny I explained to a guy from Indiana when I was at the Chicago #2 gig this year that my city of Melbourne has 5 million pe

Indeed we do love living in Australia however much like in America with Trump the leaders such as PM Scomo are destroying what we love about it...… Thankfully we can look forward to another Stones tour here early in 2020.

I'm hoping for a return tour of Australia next summer as I don't think there would be any more down under given they haven't been here for 5 years. Mick still owes us people in Melbourne for the cancelled Hanging Rock gig. What would be really cool is smaller arena shows with maybe 5 or 6 war horses and the rest of the songs a more interesting selection of rarely played gems lik

I'm hoping like hell that the tour starts in Chicago on the same date in June as I've bought 3 airline tickets which can't be changed without extra costs to travel from Melbourne Australia to see them and internal flights from SFO to Chicago, NYC, Dallas to LAX.

After getting up at 4am Melbourne time for the pre-sale the other day I couldn't justify paying those high prices to be sitting a long way away in my Mile High stadium in Denver so I tried again this morning for the 2nd show Chicago and got lucky with verified resale tickets for $207 mid tier on the side. I have no idea why there were so many of the "seats" available but decided wh
