Quoteangee Quotedaspyknows Clapton doesn't seem to run with the female blues guitarist crowd. When I think female blues players I think Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, Ana Popovic, Beth Hart and Aly Venable although I only saw her do a few songs at the Greg Allman tribute. Early 20's but has it in her veins. Bonnie and Tedeschi are on the line up, did you see them? yep, just respond

Quotetatters I'd love to be able to say I saw Clapton and Beck on the same stage at the same time, but to spend a lot of money, and then to have to travel 1200 miles, and then maybe it doesn't even happen .... eh, I don't think so. Saw that at Madison Square Garden in 2012. Fun shows. This night's recording came out nice. eric clapton & jeff beck -msg ny ny - 021910

I wasn’t that far off I said it could be cardiac, dumbass. And I’m not claiming to be an M.D. I am one. Quotespunky Mick Jagger might have to sit out a new tour due to illness, but he was all smiles a day after breaking the news ... an encouraging sign, to say the least. The Rolling Stones frontman was seen hanging at his Miami Beach oceanfront home Sunday -- marking the first time he's been spotted since the band announced they were pulling the plug on their North American tour, which was

He most likely tore an ACL or MCL training for the tour. Quotejoshbg2k Anyone in the #2 category that is pissed is their problem. These things happen and have happened before. People are insane to book nonrefundable travel way in advance anyway. What if the act of god hits you instead? For a plane ticket the price difference is 3 times to 5 times higher so not really. If you purchase trip insurancee it covers your flight due to illness.

QuoteBeast I would hope anything I can't cancel will be covered by my travel insurance. Travel insurance won't cover Mick's illness, only yours. On top of that the insurance companies will review claims with more scrutiny since they will see a disproportionate number of claims.

Quotegrzegorz67 Quote1985jayer Quoteweinerdog The fact that they're still selling tickets to TBD dates seems like a hopeful sign to me. All the best to Mick! The tour is being scheduled for the early fall now, September east coast and Chicago , October is south and west part of USA. Was looking forward to NOLA, looks like I will still go to NOLA and drink some Absinthe. Feel better Mick

They want people to hold tickets for 2 reasons. They have the money sitting in a "bank" making a few percent interest. This is at least $1 million using a back of the envelope figure. Second, if the shows do happen, it is less tickets to resell and discount. Not every one will be able to go which will lower demand and price. I planned on doing 4 but in all reality if the tour is re

Quote24FPS I will never go see him again. Saw him open for Dylan a few years back. He must have no respect for his audience. It was all slow dirges off his new album, or slower cuts from the past, and not even famous ones. He didn't play Money For Nothing, Sultans of Swing, not even the corny Walk of Life. Knopfler did nothing to show off his guitar skills. There's not a lot of artists
