There was talk of Charlie guesting - he’s not listed but hoping he may be an Unannounced guest, after all he has known Ginger longer than most

I was talking about World War 3 with some friends the other day and one of them made the point that Mick and Keith’s relationship, despite its complexities, is nowhere near as complex as the relationship between Bill and Mick/Keith. I wonder what they really think of each other? I know Keith appreciates Bill’s bass playing contributions to the band but what about Mick?

Seems as Macca and the Stones aren’t bringing it home this year (Glasto doesn’t count) - any rumblings of Dylan playing the U.K?

Sadly looks as if this reissue maybe the only opportunity we get for home gigs this year, albeit home gigs from 47 years ago! Looking forward to this release

Strong hints from Nettie Baker (Ginger’s daughter) that Charlie will be playing. Looks like Steve Winwood is being hinted at too.

Next year is probably Asia/Australia/NZ and possibly South Africa and the following year hopefully South America and Mexico. Then Europe/UK in 2023 for their 60th Anniversary and done. No, UK next year and then that’s it. They need to come back to th

QuoteTopi QuoteRollin92 It’s the fact that the Stones don’t think about the home crowd enough that gets to me. They cared enough to play there in 2012, 2013 and 2018. How many times did Asia and South America (both big markets/fan bases for them) get toured since 2012? Topi, the States have had countless gigs since 2012. 2012, 2013 and then a five year gap does not equate to a lot of gigs

QuoteTopi Rollin92: I still maintain BV never said there was any plan to add London this year. He just said it can be done and has been done. In 1990, I believe a Wembley show got cancelled and they added rescheduled shows later on, at the very end of the 1989-90 Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle tour. Also, in 2013 they toured US indoor arenas first and then did two festival sites in the UK. The dif

QuoteTopi Well, Europe got two years in a row just recently. If anyone is getting shafted, it's Asia and Oceania. The U.K. didn’t get two years in a row.... It really wouldn’t hurt for them to add London dates to the end of this leg of the No Filter Tour. However, it’s not happening so I will have to bide my time.

QuoteJumpinJeppeFlash QuoteTopi It's 2020 and people are talking about next year. Go see the band now. Yes it´s very funny that some people think this will last forever ... Charlie Watts is almost 79 years old. Everything since 2012 has been a bonus, it has been overtime for many years now. Go see them now because it can all end tomorrow and it will soon. Of course that’s a risk I’

Quotedoitywoik Here's a new take on news re. the work-in-progress. Haven't seen this version here yet (at least, the "as many as eight songs having been put to tape" part seems new to me). Beware: If I get it right, however, it's meant to be a satire … (and a poor attempt at that, complete with a disclaimer dated today): From: Have the Rolling Stones been working

Someone must know whether it is still on the table (albeit not a done deal) or no longer on the table? If it’s off the table I can stop getting excited about the 2020 tour and get excited again when they next play home.
