I recall 'escorted on the Rue La Porte in Paris as naked as the day that i will die The women they're so charming there in Paris...' I think these extra lyrics were in the LP liner notes? Dayokay

It sounded like Jagger sang in the wrong key. I think the album version will be fine. Dayo

Where does this phrase come from? When I read 'this tour will bite' I thought you were saying it would be great, and it transpires you're saying it'll be shit. I would expect the vast majority of those registered to a Stones site to be pretty upbeat about a new tour. Dayokay

I live in Cardiff, UK, and both REM & U2 are playing here this year. Interestingly, they're both charging a lot of money for a ticket. Mine was Wembley 1982. Very hot day. Tube strike meant me & my mate (Richard) had to sleep on the platform at Paddington station, 'cos we had to walk there, and missed our train by hours. Hell of a memory. Dayo

This song evokes a fair amount of negative press, but I love it. Well, many versions anyway. I love the KBFH one (allegedly) from memphis 1978. I thought the banglore 2003 was very lame indeed, and didn't think much of any ofthe few 2003 versions I heard. Lowpoint has to be the Flashpoint ones with barely any guitar, and synth-harmonica riff. Anyhow, I see they did a b-stage version on th
